DétailsThe original C Magnante arrangement shows a swing (dotted quaver to semi-quaver) boogie-woogie bass style. Chords for this rolling 12 bar sequence (apart from the intro) is as follows:- I G7 I x 4, I C7 I x 2, I G7 I x 2, I D7 I, I C7 I, G7 I x2. The 'Madison' style arrangement translates in the bass as four even beats in each and every bar played : bass - chord - bass - chord, IMO freeing up a busy yet fun right hand, grounded to a steady bass rhythm: all in three pages.
